Finance and Account Manager
Jessy Itambi is the finance and accounts manager for AF and a certified SAFE Scrum Master with experience facilitating and coaching multiple professional teams and businesses. She has served as the managing director of Itambi Consulting since 2010 where she provides financial services for multiple businesses and industries, and currently heads Azani Capital, a business investment and financial services agency. Jessy has previously worked with MetroPol- Tech Consulting Inc, 4B Consulting Group, Vega Holdings, and Camelsa Chartered Accountants where she provided coaching, account services, and business development expertise. During her career as a Certified Chartered accountant, Jessy has built a reputation as an expert in tax and business consulting for self-employed businesses and owners of closely held corporations. Jessy received her degree in accounting from the University of Buea and is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants. Aside from her many professional duties, Jessy provides pro bono assistance to numerous non-profit, social, and educational organizations

Grants and M & E Manager
Grants and M&E Manager: Oumoul Khairy Cherif Oumoul K. Cherif is the grants and M&E manager of the Atem Foundation where she oversees grant proposal writing and the monitoring and implementation of well-defined business standard benchmarks. As a community development professional with over 10 years’ experience in business development, program design, coordination and evaluation of sustainability projects, problem solving, and proposals and grants for community and economic development projects, Oumoul is a successful development driver who has created considerable progress within her industry. She previously worked as a proposals development manager and grants writer at MBI Health Services in Washington D.C. where she directed and designed projects, logical frameworks, theories of change, and actively participated in project planning and program implementations and reporting, managing over two million dollars in community development projects. Oumoul has worked as a human resources specialist and benefits specialist and has served in additional roles such as sales representative at Florida Business Consultant, and associate officer at North South Consultants Exchange in Cairo, Egypt. She was a fellow and research assistant at the American University in Cairo where she also served as a teaching assistant and a research fellow. She has served as an administrator at the African Export- Import Bank Headquarters and an Account Manager of Business Development at NetServEx. She holds a Bachelors of Science in economics and an MA in economics in international development.

Emmanuel Sevidezm: Projects Officer, Nigeria
Emmanuel Sevidezm is an accredited civil society activist with more than 17 years of experience in the civil society sector. A refugee himself, Emmanuel’s activism is centered on promoting the rights and social welfare of refugees in the most neglected communities in the Northeast regions of Nigeria where he has provided services to hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals. Emmanuel currently coordinates two economic and vocational empowerment initiatives targeted for young women and youths within the most crucial population of refugee communities. As an IT expert, Emmanuel recently set up an ICT hub to assist in facilitating ICT projects or an online refugee education center.

Elsie Obi: Projects Officer, Nigeria
Elsie Obi is the Atem Foundation’s project manager for the Nigerian and West African offices where she manages and directs all AF work in Nigeria. For over 5 years she has assisted in coordinating the refugee community of Nigeria. A refugee herself, Elsie works to help link refugees from multiple communities to synchronize with the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and the United Nations Humanitarian Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) for registration. Elsie has led numerous relief projects in multiple states and has supervised empowerment programs in different communities such as housing refugee settlements, food sharing and facilitating medical donations. Throughout her work, Elsie has forged relationships with local communities and their leadership to discuss refugee affairs and ensure that positive relationships are maintained between refugees and their host regions. Elsie is a career teacher and graduated from the Teachers Training College in Kumba, the Cameroons.

George Enow: Graphics Design and Tech Officer
Enow Geroge Agbor is the graphic design and tech officer of the Atem Foundation, directing AF’s branding and marketing program. He is a technologies entrepreneur, a website developer, and an ICT teacher with considerable experience in digital marketing, product conception, design, and development of web applications. Driven by his commitment to social change, George has taken part in many leadership educational programs such as the YALI West Africa RLC Leadership program, the Kectil Leadership program, and the African ChangeMakers Fellowship program. He is the co-founder of Mungenow Techhnologies Limited, a B2C technology start-up with a vision to develop technologies that meet the needs of a modern African society, and the founder of eNow Digital, an online platform for buying and selling music EPs, albums, mixtapes, event tickets, eMagazines, eBooks, audiobooks and more. George has won several awards and distinctions such as Best Teacher in SouthWest region of Cameroon for Using and Integrating ICTs in Teaching, Best Socialite for all SDGs by the Digital Citizenship Institute, and Best Digital Entrepreneur by Bonteth Digital Media Awards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in technology with a specialization in software engineering from the University of Buea.

Cynthia Ugwuja: Administrative Assistant
Cynthia Ugwuja serves as the Atem Foundation administrative assistant with over 7 years of professional experience in client relationship management, time and task management, project and media management, and data and bookkeeping. Cynthia provides administrative support services and manages the AF secretariat including contributions to the AF project implementation, documentation, data management, and communication systems. She recently served as administrative support supervisor and point of contact for customer service at Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State in Nigeria and also worked as an administrative assistant with GoodLuck Nigeria LTD and Anyibest General Enterprises in Lagos where she was tasked with managing customer services, client management services, and communication. Cynthia holds a BA in history and international relations from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Frederick Ito: Project Associate
Frederick Itoe is a project associate with the Atem Foundation. He has dedicated the past 6 years working on humanitarian assistance projects, including providing emergency assistance to children, young girls, and women in the conflict affected areas in the Cameroons. Prior to joining AF, Frederick worked with Mother Child Education and Health Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Tiko, Cameroon where he assisted Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) across the region, providing food assistance, clothing, educational materials, and medical assistant to children and those from communities affected by the armed conflict. Frederick is the community point-of-contact for AF and spends most time traveling and meeting community leaders and assessing the needs of individuals and communities in need. One of his signature activities is the “Child Protection Program” he organizes every year to commemorate the day of the African child, sensitizing children and youths on drug abuse, education, and entrepreneurial programs. Frederick also engaged in sensitizing women and young girls on personal hygiene and led efforts to improve microfinance and empowerment of women. Since joining the Atem Foundation, Frederick has helped hundreds of IDPs including the elderly with humanitarian and medical assistance. Being a photographer by profession, Frederick has used his talent to provide hope to those who depend on others for a push in order to effectively integrate into society after a conflict and disaster.
